So apparently England didn’t win the right to host the 2018 World Cup. Did you hear about that? I must have missed it… Lots of people weren’t very happy with Mr Blatter and his buddies at FIFA. To be honest I don’t really have a problem with Russia getting 2018; Qatar in 2022 will be the issue. Anyway, it’s difficult not to be libellous in this situation so best keep it clean I suppose.
.

Blatter was the master of deception - the process of secretly extracting valuable commercial information from the unconscious mind of his targets while they dreamt of hosting the World Cup.
.

Lost amid the furore of the 2018 decision was the announcement that the 2026 tournament will be held on Sepp Blatter's giant ego. Rumours that the 2030 World Cup will be held up his arse are however currently unsubstantiated...

Every week sees something ever more ridiculous happen at Anfield; it feels right they should be the theme this week. I can understand Hicks and Gillett desperately trying to hold on to the club given they stand to lose the best part of £140m but sometimes you have just cut your losses and let go. Tomorrow’s high court decision should be interesting to say the least…
.

The Conservative child benefit cuts certainly affected some clubs more than others...
(Underwater scenes are quite hard, sorry)

Football’s ever increasing debts is the theme this week, which is no surprise with Portsmouth on the brink, Liverpool struggling to find any pennies down the back of the Hicks/Gillette sofa and the Glazers at Man Utd finding ever inventive ways to take money out of the Old Trafford coffers. With that in mind, I thought I’d use the DIY David Cameron poster to come up with something.

Personally I don't see what the issue is. Come May and it's all going to be ok...
